It isdesigned to provide basic information on autism, specifically in preschool and school age children. It also offers an introduction toApplied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and describes how ABA can be useful inteaching appropriate independent and social behaviors, includinglanguage. Lastly, some strategies for dealing with problem behaviorusing the principles of ABA are discussed.
